Norway-based, Chooose builds an all-in-one climate toolkit/ SaaS for businesses (of all sizes), so that they can offer their customers climate options at check-out, in-app, or anywhere they meet them. E.g. American Express GBT opted for Chooose to build a new “calculator” (across air travel, ground transportation & accommodation) to allow its customers to i) measure the carbon emissions of their business travel (integrated in its Neo booking tool, for which the company also recently acquired US-based digital travel mgmt. start-up Egencia), ii) access a “verified offset” marketplace, to allow them to opt-in to e.g. carbon removals & sustainable aviation fuel. Chooose also works with other leading aviation, travel & logistics firms such as Air Canada, Booking.com, British Airways, Clarksons, Trip.com, Ibera, SAP Concur, Southwest Airlines, Japan Airlines, Freightos & LATAM Cargo. Founded in 2017 by Andreas Slettvoll (CEO), Gaute Gamst (CTO), Henrik Rotjer Guderud & Martine Kveim (Head of Strategic Partnerships), Chooose will use the capital to expand its SaaS to support new enterprise sectors & broaden its marketplace. <Source: ain.capital, eco-business.com, voyages-d-affaires.com, articstartup.com>
