France-based ProovStation, is emerging as a European leader in automated vehicle testing solutions. Its (ProovStation) station (built in France) is the “first drive-through scanner that fully automates the inspection & valuation process for used vehicles (in 3 seconds)”. In doing so, ProovStation transform a previously manual, subjective & time-consuming (avg. 30 min) process into one of industrial speed & quality, capable of managing several hundred vehicles per day. The AI (evolved by a proprietary data labeling tool) is fed 300 photos taken by an advanced optronic system (aka cameras) to identify body (powered by NVIDIA Metropolis) & tire (powered by MICHELIN Quickscan) defects with millimeter precision & to generate a quantified inspection report. Owners can then obtain an instantaneous offer to either service or sell their vehicle (in partnership with BCA Group, Groupe Bernard, Groupe Sarterre & Groupe Charles André). 130 self-service ProovSations have already been deployed across 13 countries in locations such e.g. SIXT car rentals & Carrefour hypermarkets. 30 additional deployments are planned for 2023 already. ProovStation was founded in 2017 by Cedric Bernard (CEO) (c/o Groupe Bernard), with co-founders Gabriel Tissandier (CPO) & Anton Komyza (CFO) joining shortly thereafter. <Source: businesswire.com, blogs.nvidia.com, tech.eu >
